Sense Sonnet - Chiller

Late Night Snack

It was late now, after midnight -
Time to dig up something to eat.
Ah, just the thought of that first bite
Into a juicy piece of meat.
The spot I picked had no delay.
I studied the menu with zeal,
At last selecting an entree.
Moments later, I had my meal.
Since I was one who did not cook,
To dine - this was the perfect place.
I leaned over my meal and took
A bite from the cadaver's face.

I believe in the Golden Rule;
For after all, I am a ghoul.
