Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Legend of Annie Palmer

Annie Palmer, White Witch, is said

To haunt Rose Hall, Montego Bay.

Since 1846 she's dead,

But still a voodoo ghost they say.

Tours taken of Rose Hall claim

Annie's eyes in her portrait do

Follow their movements with her aim

Whether their souls she should pursue.

Several investigations done

Prove Annie was not a witch, bad,

And Annie's tale, a made up one,

Lots of fictionalizing had.

Annie Palmer, her tale to tell,

So more her tour tickets sell.
