 Pick a Peeve

Be a giraffe with a sore throat,

Or centipede with itchy feet?

A quirky question I do note,

Neither pick of happy receipt.

But I will pick the giraffe be,

Then swallow the centipede, sure

From what I hear, a remedy

To give a giraffe, sore throat cure.

And sure enough, soon after I

Swallow that centipede, there is

Throat pain relief in good supply,

As gone is the soreness, gee whiz!

No more sore throat, but still a hitch,

Cuz this giraffe's throat now does itch.
