Sense Sonnet - Tickler
Superseding Reading
"The Old Man and the Sea" I read,
The book by Ernest Hemingway,
An interesting fish tale indeed.
Through the whole book I'll try to stay.
But at the point when the old man
Snags the huge marlin on his hook,
Tries to reel in, hard as he can,
Suddenly, alive comes the book,
The man and fish, amid their fight,
Sea waters splashing all around.
Unbelievable, such a sight,
A surprise to surely confound.
I'll try to read more later, no doubt,
But right now I just need to dry out.
