Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Truth for Tin Man
Red satin heart full of saw dust
Was best Wizard of Oz had.
The Tin Man knew shed tears would rust
Badly his face, though he be sad.
He sits upon a rock to cope,
Holding the fake heart in his hand.
Then Dorothy comes and gives him hope,
Told him truth he did understand.
He had good tenderness and care,
Already inside him a part,
With Dorothy and others did share
As well as any with real heart.
And hearing this, the Tin Man knew
It was not fake heartfelt but true.
