 Changed My Life

An ugly life I felt I had,

Just a poor, useless one who be

Stuck in a life that I deemed bad,

Not knowing life's purpose for me.

But then one day, Mom Nature came

And told me that a choice I could

Make, and that would turn real my aim,

Changing to a life I deemed good.

Since I knew Mom Nature knew best,

Hardship and pain I did endure,

But made it through the cocoon test,

And emerged the better for sure.

An ugly caterpillar, I

Now a beautiful butterfly.
