 My Fighting Evil

I know that evil does exist.

I see and hear evil each day.

But evil I meet, try resist

Any evil I'd do or say.

Enough evil, I need not add

Any more to be made by me.

I need seek good in me, where bad

Confronts me as a true fact be.

The more evil that I do face,

The more wisdom and courage I

Am armed with in such time and place.

Overcome evil, I must try.

Confronted by evil as fact,

I pray for good to think and act.
