Sense Sonnet - Tickler

 This Snail's Pace

My backpack and umbrella is

Cargo I tote for any need.

And so enjoyable, gee whiz,

Strolling through the forest indeed.

Being a snail, my pace is slow,

Time to take in the scenery.

A passing turtle wants to know

If he can give a ride to me.

But I say no thanks, I'd prefer

To, at my leisurely pace, stroll.

I realize I go slow, sure,

Eventually, I'll reach my goal.

I let the turtle go on past.

A trip on him would go too fast!
