 My Ultimate Devotion

Long ago, I was rescued from

What should have been sure suicide.

A miracle, strangers did come,

Help that was divinely supplied.

A recovering addict since,

I've come to believe in God's will,

And blessed by God's benevolence,

I seek good purpose to fulfill.

My family and friends, and yes,

Strangers I may be useful to,

I strive to give as love does bless,

In all I think and all I do.

God, as I understand God be,

Most important presence for me.
