 Brutus Smiled

Brutus had ambition desire,

But felt Caesar stood in his way,

So with Senators did conspire

To kill Caesar Ides of March day.

Brutus approached him with a smile,

As others stabbed him from the back.

His blood flowed on the marble tile,

As Caesar died from the attack.

Brutus thought Caesar's death would be

Power for Brutus all the more.

But ill fate forced Brutus to flee,

As Rome was thrown in civil war.

Brutus committed suicide,

No smile in death, he went to hide.
