Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Color Me Yellow

In early Spring is when I bloom,

And my bright yellow petals do

Help me avoid any frost doom,

Absorbing lots of sunlight, true,

To warm the inside of me up,

Much warmer than the outside air,

Like a solar collection cup.

Early season bugs are aware

That spending time inside of me

Is warm and safe environment,

And my pollen be had for free,

Sharing by mutual consent.

Bright yellow color does fulfill

Good purpose for this daffodil.
