Sense Sonnet - Tickler
She Talks, He Listens
A wife and husband, married long.
She talks a lot and he does not.
He never tells her when she's wrong,
Though what she says is wrong a lot.
She speaks her mind on little stuff.
He listens to it all, in mind,
That he cares about them enough,
With all her talk, he will be kind,
Because for her, he be best one
To listen to all she might say,
And patiently, until she's done.
Knowing her well, it's best this way.
Maybe some day the truth will don
On her, he lets her jabber on.
