Sense Sonnet - Acher
From House to Shop
There is a fairy tale of old,
Three pigs, and a house each did build
Of straw, of wood, of bricks, retold
With a different ending fulfilled.
The tree houses left empty when
Off to market did go each pig.
The houses were foreclosed on then.
At the market, having grown big,
All of the three pigs found themselves
Each taking on a change of name,
And put up front on a shop's shelves.
Once pigs, but now pork chops became.
These three pigs ended up in this tale
Daily special in butcher shop sale.
