Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 My Life Recycled

Reawakened from winter nap,

Begin my sprouting upward bound.

Well rooted, got go ahead tap

To reemerge out of the ground.

Form first a jagged leaf rosette,

Well suited to capture sunlight.

My stem grows, until I am set

For flowering, yellow and bright.

And then my flower transforms to

A white seed head nicknamed "puffball,"

With lots of seeds all fresh and new,

To scatter forth at nature's call.

Time to spring in springtime indeed.

I'm dandelion, oft called weed.
