 Aging with Right in Mind

All throughout this life I have had,

I know what ten commandments say.

Mostly I'm good, a little bad,

And keep in mind for Judgement Day.

So, as I get older, I try

To be good more and be bad less,

Cuz I should know better is why.

How God will count, just have to guess.

Most my bad done when I was young,

God maybe gives allowance for.

But now old me, by deed and tongue,

Likely God expects good much more.

So when at Pearly Gates I be,

Sure hope God's Judgement's for entry.
