Cartoon character I'd want be

Dinner companion, my first choice,

Cookie Monster, dining with me.

Long on eating and short on voice.

Oft dinner conversation is

An obstacle to chowing down.

So eater, not talker, gee whiz,

Cookie Monster has got renown.

And for a monster, Cookie's cute,

Shaggy blue furred and googly eyed,

In ever cookie search pursuit.

"Me want cookie," me too's applied.

So we'd both dine from just one source,

Chocolate chip cookies, of course.
