Sense Sonnet - Tickler
Hunger Game
Not yet dawn, I am on the lake,
An early fishing start to get.
But breakfast I forgot to take.
Not a single fish caught as yet.
So in my boat under moonlight,
My tummy in a rumbling growl,
Missing my breakfast, such a plight.
"Oh, why me!" to the moon I howl.
Search, but nary any food be.
Hallucinations do begin,
As my hunger takes over me.
Make believe, I find myself in.
Pancake moon in a skillet sky,
With star sparks from the battered fry.
