 Overcoming

Addictive personality,

Bad habits, I've a bunch of them.

And for too long a time I be

Causing myself lots of mayhem.

But I was lucky, cuz I found

Help for baddest addictions, I

Have, and been recovery bound,

That accepting help can supply.

Abuse of substance, gambling and

Sex lust, I'm recovering, though

Never be cured, I understand,

Have to work to stay well, I know.

Addictions still real, not a dream,

I often relapse on ice cream.
