When Sammy Davis, Jr. came

To pick up his briefcase, in fun,

At the episode end, did aim

And plant a kiss on Archie's cheek.

The audience laughter did go

On and on in a record streak,

The longest for a T.V. show.

All in my family, we too

Enjoyed such in this time and place,

A moment sharing, pure and true,

There is hope for the human race.
