The public opinion on food

Shortage globally oft depends

Which public is asked to conclude,

And what each public comprehends.

A U.S. public might ask back,

"By a shortage, what do you mean?"

Not being quite so much in lack

In the supermarkets shelves scene.

Ethiopian public could

Ask back, "What is food?" Cuz there be

Lots of famine there, and not good,

For food is such a scarcity.

And public response from the Chinese,

"What is public opinion, please?"
