On discriminatory biz,

She faced all stages of her life.

A target of racism, she

Strengthened herself through all the strife,

And her artwork did help her be.

In the art she uses words to

Speak out, and herself to reclaim,

Shows resilience, proud and true,

With remembrance as her prime aim.
