I need to start out young, and so

I'm studying on my first spell.

Blackie, my kitty cat, I know

Will keep me company while I

Read up on all this first spell stuff.

Hard to concentrate but I try.

Still my mind wanders and it's tough

To work when I would rather play

With Blackie, so I hurry to

Read through to the part when I may

First practice this first spell to do.

Something went wrong with my spell that

Turned Blackie into a white cat!
