Sense Sonnet - Acher

 My Turn With Death

The two of us are now apart.

Death took you too soon but left me

In this life with a broken heart,

Just waiting for the time to be

When with death I will get my turn,

And have my chance to reunite

With you, my love, and so I yearn

For coming death to my delight,

To take me below or above,

No matter which, as long as I

Am once again with you, my love,

Sooner the better when I die.

Alone in life I now have to dwell.

With you was heaven, without is hell.
