Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Mutual Understanding
He is very prudishly shy.
She is so outgoingly wild,
Causing eyebrows to raise sky high,
While he's politely mannered mild.
She likes to play sports out of doors.
He likes to read books and to learn,
On Jeopardy gets perfect scores.
Climb to mountaintops she does yearn.
She and he, quite opposites are,
A truth both of us now admit,
And understand now, though bizarre,
That our personalities' split.
In spite of ourselves, we both think
We're better off, thanks to the shrink.
