 Lost Cat Found

A leaflet stapled to the pole

Showed the picture of a cute cat,

Lost, and it was the writer's goal

For return to home habitat.

A phone number and reward sum

Were on the leaflet with a plea

That any help would be welcome

On finding this beloved kitty.

I had no phone to make a call

That I had some good news about

This lost cat, because after all

I sure could find myself, no doubt.

And so this cat will end my roam,

Bet there's great treats when I get home.
