 Malice Done Alice

A smoking caterpillar who

Did really ask me, "Who am I?"

As in my face some smoke he blew.

I wasn't sure how to reply.

I knew I was Alice who be

The main character in the book.

How dare this insect question me!

And so I said, "Time out," and took

To Mr. Carroll my concern,

Who gently pleaded with me to

Not let this bug bug me, in turn

A disappearing act he'd do.

Shame on Mr. Carroll, cuz the dude

Turned it a butterfly, still rude.
