Sense Sonnet - Acher
For Better and Worse
The better days we say we've seen.
Others say worse were those same days.
The truth is somewhere in between
What others scorn and what we praise.
Where we are going, where we came from,
Other's comings and goings be
Quite different in go and come,
Never have, never will agree.
While better days for us seem right,
For others, same days worse and wrong,
Continues forward from hindsight,
Whether future is short or long.
Better and worse, always combined,
That's just the way of humankind.
