 Lennie Let Me Know

At the end of a rainbow, I

Found a pot of gold so I thought.

Was it a leprechaun's supply?

An expert opinion I sought

To get and so I went to see

Lennie, my favorite leprechaun,

Who was happy to provide me

Advice on what I'd come upon.

"An end of rainbow pot," he said,

"Is often just a prank put there,"

"So that the finder is misled."

"It happens a lot, so beware."

At what I'd found, Lennie did balk,

"Sorry, it's fools' gold, a sham rock."
