 Buba

Buba, the water buffalo,

Is with three human boys today.

Is used to being with them so

Has taught them well in Buba's way.

They all have been in the field since

Early morn, and Buba of course

Has done most of the working hence

Buba's in need  of water source

For thirst and thermoregulate,

So Buba does not overheat.

With some grunts, Buba does relate

Water need, no need to repeat.

Into the river go all four.

Water on Buba the boys pour.
