 Should I Let Her In?

She suddenly appeared outside

My window seeming to want my

Letting her in to be supplied.

A damsel in distress who I,

Liking such lovely ladies, would

Quite quickly say, "Yes, do come in."

But something here did not seem good.

I felt goosebumps on my neck skin.

And then I guessed the damsel might

Be one of whom I'd heard tales told,

Seeking those like me in the night

Who'd let them come in from the cold.

Yes, I'm sticking to my first guess,

A vampire "damsel in distress."
