Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Be Tempted By
Little Red Riding Hood I see
Walking through the forest to go
I bet to grandma's house thinks me,
As I watch her through morning glow,
With dewdrops sparkling in the grass,
Growing 'neath the towering trees,
Under which Little Red does pass.
The scent of her floats with the breeze.
Temptation is hard to resist,
But I want not to tempt ill fate,
Which beckons to me through the mist,
My no happy end to await.
That Grimm tale does end grim so I'm
This big bad wolf who'll pass this time.
