 Grandfather's Grandfather Clock

When Grandfather died, at same time

His grandfather clock did stop too.

Under Grandfather's last will, I'm

His sole beneficiary who

Got the clock that none could repair.

But to get rid of it, no way.

Small apartment we both would share.

Then to my amazement one day,

The clock began working just fine.

And I could hear a voice as well.

Just an imagining of mine?

Soon I discovered time would tell.

Working, haunted grandfather clock,

I often hear Grandfather talk.
