 My Contribution to Society

Hubby is an alcoholic.

He has been for a long, long time.

I stay with him, though he is sick

Because I do love him, and I'm

The best one who can save him from

Hurting others, driving a car,

Something so dangerously dumb.

Wherever he goes, near or far,

Either I drive or someone who

Knows Hubby should not get the key.

Hubby accepts this rule as true,

Firm condition to stay with me.

I've ways and means while I'm alive,

When Hubby drinks he does not drive.
