 Coral Leery

I am a coral polyp and do

Live with lots more and form a reef.

I am a brightly, reddish hue,

An animal of styled motif

To entice small fish to swim by.

Then with my tentacles I sting.

So to immobilize is why.

Then I commence my digesting.

Bigger animals pose me threat,

Like those humans who come too near,

And want to grab me, a safe bet,

To take me as a souvenir.

Very careless, humans can be,

And get infected touching me.
