 Bloomsday

Leopold Bloom was "hero" for

James Joyce novel, "Ulysses," that

On June 16th, 1904,

While in his Dublin habitat,

Bloom was despairing of his life,

With some gloomy thoughts going to

The affair by Molly, his wife.

He was not sure of what he'd do.

Bloom wandered through the city on

An "odyssey" to try to find

Purpose for what had come and gone,

But nothing really came to mind.

Each June 16th there be array

Of worldwide homage to "Bloomsday."
