 No Big Deal

When we moved to New Mexico,

Out in the desert I did roam,

Abducted an alien so

Decided I would take it home.

I did not tell my Mom and Dad.

They frowned on me bringing home stuff.

Next day I actually was glad

To go to school, not soon enough

To show off my alien find.

The teacher and class seemed ho hum,

Which put a bummer on my mind.

My excitement seemed kind of dumb.

Found out alien show and tell

Is sure no big deal in Roswell.
