Of his model, Wifey, Hortense.

Hubby, Cezanne, in somber hue

Gave little spousal compliment.

Maybe painted as inside jest

'Tween him and her so to beguile

Her looking worst, his painting best.

Surely no Mona Lisa smile.

Wifey sitting in time and place,

Letting Hubby have his weird fun.

Wifey has look upon her face,

"C'mon Hubby, let's get this done."

If Wifey knew, she might say, "Dang."

One day in a museum she'd hang.
