 Shadow of Shame

Both 48 years old, my wife

And I took up boxing so that

It might excite our sex life,

Boring on the home habitat.

We bought the equipment and went

Down into the basement, just us,

By ourselves for this event.

We knew the kids would make a fuss.

My wife, I'd go easy on her,

Not be too macho for the bout.

This did turn out badly for sure,

Because my wife, she knocked me out.

So I shadow boxed secretly.

Even my shadow knocked out me.
