"Killer's Kiss"

Young Stanley Kubrick's second flick,

"Killer's Kiss" of crime film noir sort

Used quite well each low budget trick

To make the best of resource short.

Glass jawed boxer, Davey, does save

Neighbor dancer, Gloria, from

Abuse of her manager knave

By killing the villainous bum.

At first Kubrick wanted the plot

To end with ev'rybody dead,

But from the studio he got

A "No" and so recut instead.

Davey and Gloria in bliss,

With happy ending killer's kiss.
