Sense Sonnet - Steamer

 Can't Be Avoided

Late for the party, so I do

Take a shortcut through the town park,

Walk under the light poles, a few,

Because it's getting very dark.

A bit chilly, but dressed for that,

In my fav'rite color of brown,

Be boots and coat and dress and hat.

Party's for the mayor of the town.

But suddenly nature does call,

No facilities are close by.

I curse the timing of it all,

But need to answer where, not why.

I sure hope nobody does see

Me take a dump behind this tree.
