Nikola Tesla, inventor,
Inventor, Thomas Edison,
Each invented marvels galore,
But a Nobel prize - neither won.
Rumor has it that both men were
Co-winners in 1915.
But animosity did stir,
With co-refusals 'twixt and 'tween.
The Physics Prize did go elsewhere.
The Nobel Foundation replied
'Twas just rumor of a co-share.
The truth was never verified.

The two inventors got much done,
But getting along was not one.
