Hand Carve - LP Zoo

October's here, so what to do
To turn the fall into fun fest,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
Whatever - I will do with zest.
The keepers keep me in supply
Of pumpkins now grown fat and round.
Their color orange does catch my eye.
The possibilities abound.
Inside are pulp and seeds to eat.
To get there I must make a hole
In the orange rind and slurp the treat.
Do it artistic is my goal.

Carving pumpkins is fun indeed.
Gorilla hands are all I need.
