Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Chicago Marathon '17 - LP Zoo

It's the Chicago Marathon.
Up high, I have a real good view,
Thanks to my neck phenomenon.
I'm watching from Lincoln Park Zoo.
I could probably win the race,
But giraffes aren't allowed to run.
Of course I'd run with lots of grace,
And take a quite deep bow when done.
But I'm content to just spectate,
And browse on tasty snacks on high,
Watching short humans ambulate,
Little legs moving on the fly.

Thousands of humans' racing knees,
Through the Windy City they breeze.
