Knights Templar

Knights Templar rose in the Crusades
To hold for Christ the Holy Land,
Receiving many accolades,
Amassing riches vast and grand.
But when the Holy Land was lost,
The Pope and royal powers that be
Used that excuse and doublecrossed,
Charging high sins of heresy.
The Knights Templar assets were seized
By Papal and royal orders fake.
Christian powers even more pleased
With Knights Templar burned at the stake.

Knights Templar, no longer welcome
In the circles of Christendom.
