Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Flying Carpet of Solomon

King Solomon was said to fly
On a carpet around the world,
Sixty miles long and wide, sent high
Upon the winds, it's silks unfurled.
And the carpet could fly so fast,
Solomon could leave Israel noon,
Under him, land and oceans passed,
Supper in India - so soon.
Armies with horses could transport
To wherever Solomon chose.
Or a vehicle used to court
The Queen of Sheba - rumor goes.

How could Solomon make this be?
Could have been an ancient E.T.!
