Groundhog Day Again

February second once more,
Calendar sez Groundhog Day tiz.
I, Punxsutawney Phil, show for
A few seconds of pure show biz.
If I see my shadow, folks say
Six more weeks of winter to go.
So humans drag me out this day
From my fancy manmade burrow,
Which has a window. Folks can peep
Into my life the whole year round.
Tales told of me have piled up deep,
Over a century of ground.

Ever life elixir I drink,
Some strawberry Kool-Aid, I think.
