Dreaming of a White... - LP Zoo

We snow monkeys arrived last fall,
New home at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
From Japan's mountains we came all,
Hearing Chicago snow storms blew
Awesome from blizzards amply spanned.
Next to humans, we are primates
That thrive in winter wonder land.
Winter came - we endured long waits,
November through January.
The dibs and dabs of snow that fell
Was winter wuss - how could this be?
Lasted like a snow ball in hell.

February - a record snow,
Fifth best blizzard - yay Chicago.
