Red Billed Hornbill - LP Zoo

I am a red billed hornbill bird,
With billing at Lincoln Park Zoo.
I come from Africa I've heard.
Munch on plants and insects I do.
Named for my long and curved red bill.
My head and underparts be white,
Wings and long tail with a gray fill.
I stand about a foot in height.
A tree hole in the preferred place,
To lay three to six white eggs there.
The bill is used to pack the space,
So that new chicks get proper care.
