Sahar Turns Five - LP Zoo

I am Sahar, the lion king,
Reigning at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
Turning five is an awesome thing,
So humans throw a big to do.
I don't blow candles on a cake.
Instead I smash a fun gazelle.
I know that the thing is a fake,
But humans like it, so oh well!
For me birthdays are no big deal,
But humans like to celebrate.
So I go through motions for real,
Birthday memory to create.

Humans keep me from getting bored.
No lyin' lion - thanks I roared.
