Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Spectacled Caiman - LP Zoo

A spectacled caiman I be.
My home is the Lincoln Park Zoo.
Oh what spectacles I do see.
I love watching humans - I do.
Humans think the ridge 'tween my eyes
Looks like I have spectacles on,
And thus my name - no real surprise,
Humans are a phe-name-enon.
A caiman is a crocodile,
With alligator a close kin,
A South American reptile,
Water is where you'll find us in.

At the Zoo see me in a groove,
And once comfy, I rarely move.
